I received back "about 415,000,000" results for those three letters. However, the one I am interested in today is DEI Sales Training Systems. You see, I am interested in courses and seminars involving sales because that is my profession. When you are in sales, or any other profession, it is just intelligent to continue to learn about your skills or lack of skill. A little bit of background information on DEI. DEI Sales Training is a division of DEI Franchise Systems, Inc., a nationally-known, premier sales training company, founded by Stephan Schiffman in 1979. They have given trainings for companies ranging from startups to Fortune 500's. DEI trains in the most critical aspects of the sales processes: prospecting, execution of the sales process and productive management. Mr. Schiffman has a daily blog that he posts. One of his latest being, "There is nothing less valuable than an idea not implemented." DEI has thirteen principles, which they call simply, DEI Principles. One topic of interest to me is the one on coaching for increased productivity - improving sales team performance. Who cannot use this one! Participants will also learn how to build a successful coaching plan, including a long-term plan and learn their coaching strengths and weaknesses through a self-discovery exercise. DEI recognizes this and helps managers master the "human equation and the 'strategic equation", thus reducing turnover and improving income-generating performance. These methods will enhance performance levels as well as managerial skills. DEI offers e-learning or on-line summaries of key points, which can be completed in about twenty minutes per course.
